Messianic Christology Syllabus

Start Date: July 20th 2015 (7 PM) Every Monday Evening Location: Evangelistic Center COGIC 2570 Kent Rd. Manchester NJ 08759 Messianic Christology (2 credit course) Class time: 90 minutes Course length: 6 weeks Syllabus and Outline Description: A journey through the Old Testament discovering and uncovering the Messianic Prophecies, Typologies, and Psalms that point us to the Messiah we know as Jesus (Yeshua) Goal: To show the student the importance of The Old Testament in relationship to the New Covenant we received through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. References: Why God Had to Die – Mark H. Stevens / Wilmington’s Guide to the Bible / KJV Bible and an NIV Bible. Week One – The Need for a Messiah and His Introduction in Genesis : Reading Assignment: Read Genesis chapters 1 through 6 and Chapters1 and 5 of Why God Had to Die. Week Two –  Typologies in the Old Testament Part One : Reading Assignment: Read Genesis chapters 7 through to Exodus chapter 12)
